TRU Beauty - Be Beautiful Inside and Out

Achieving beauty on the outside starts from within. Nourishing your body with the proper essential nutrients will manifest itself in the form of a vibrant, youthful appearance.

Maximizing your health and consuming ingredients your body craves will pay dividends towards how you look and feel.

Let your TRU Beauty be seen both inside and out.

Hi, I’m Sean Torbati. As a health and wellness expert, I try to emphasize the importance of proper nutrition as a means of improving long-term health and appearance. In order to truly look and feel great you must first focus on health from within.

Think about it this way. Would you put a brand new paint job on a non-operational vehicle?

The same is true of our bodies. Spending exorbitant amounts of money on skin creams and topical solutions will not improve long-term health. Fueling your body internally will allow it to flourish both inside and out.

TRU Beauty’s natural enhancement effects will result in longer and fuller hair, stronger nails, and strong healthy skin. Our products contain only premium ingredients so you get everything your body needs to thrive.

Let’s take a look at how our unique formula can help enhance your natural beauty.

Biotin

Biotin has long been praised as an essential B vitamin capable of building and maintaining keratin protein. Keratin is the building block of hair, skin, and nails—having been shown to improve hair growth and quality.

Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin and essential cofactor for several important enzymes (1). Deficiencies of biotin have been linked to several health issues including dermatitis and hair loss (2).

Biotin supplementation has been shown to improve hair health making it a vital nutrient for optimal follicle strength and development.

L-Glutathione (Setria®)

As a master antioxidant, L-Glutathione is naturally made by the body and helps to reduce oxidative stress thereby improving skin elasticity and wrinkle reduction.

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study looked at groups of healthy female subjects taking either Glutathione or a placebo for 12 weeks. Glutathione effectively influenced skin properties helping to increase skin elasticity compared to placebo groups (3).

A 1 month clinical study of Glutathione administration was conducted on healthy adults. After one week, Glutathione levels were elevated resulting in reduction of oxidative stress biomarkers as well as enhanced immunity function (4).

As a master antioxidant, Glutathione can help skin have a naturally glowing appearance.

DMAE

As a precursor to choline and acetylcholine, DMAE is known for stabilizing cell membranes. This can help slow down aging while increasing hair quality, nail strength, and skin tone.

An animal study looked at the anti-aging effects of DMAE. It found that DMAE has marked anti-aging effects (5). A secondary review found that DMAE possesses potential anti-inflammatory effects and a documented increase in skin firmness and facial muscle tone (6).

Alpha Lipoic Acid

ALA is a natural compound produced in the body. It mainly handles energy production and crucial cellular functions. ALA helps to produce radiant looking skin through its anti-inflammatory effects and skin tone enhancement.

One study looked at the anti-inflammatory effects of ALA over the course of 12 weeks. Thirty-three women with a mean age of 54 were treated twice daily with ALA cream or a placebo. The results showed a statistical improvement in decreased skin roughness after undergoing clinical trials (7).

ALA can even help cure skin injuries caused by anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects in individuals with smoke induced skin damage (8).

Lutein

As a naturally occurring carotenoid vitamin, Lutein is an antioxidant that protects skin, hair, and nails against harmful UV rays. It also helps to increase skin hydration and elasticity.

A 2016 study was performed over a 12 week period in which fifty healthy subjected with mild-to-moderate dry skin were administered an oral dietary supplement containing 10mg Lutein or a placebo. The results showed improved skin conditions (9).

Lutein has also been shown to be beneficial for eye health and cognitive performance. Diets high in Lutein have been shown to favorably impact overall health and well-being (10).

Pine Bark Extract

Pine Bark Extract originates from a select tree found near the Mediterrean Sea. The active components in the ingredient can help stimulate blood flow and send nutrients to the skin along with crucial enzymes helping to produce soft and radiant skin.

Studies have found that Proanthocyanidin, the active ingredient in Pine Bark, has a range of health benefits including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (11).

Pine Bark Extract has also been shown to help treat osteoarthritis and other common ailments (12).

Astaxanthin

As a potent antioxidant with UV blocking abilities, Astaxanthin can help protect the skin against sun-related damage. Furthermore, it’s been shown to increase skin moisture retention and elasticity while promoting skin smoothness.

A 16 week study was conducted among 65 healthy female participants who were given either 6mg or 12mg of Astaxanthin or a placebo. The findings of the study suggest Astaxanthin supplementation may inhibit age-related skin deterioration while maintaining skin conditions (13).

A second study looked at healthy participants who were given 4mg of Astaxanthin or a placebo. Those taking Astaxanthin had a reduced loss of skin moisture in the irradiated area compared with placebo (14).
